The crowd got worse as the night went on. Really bummed for Vic et. al. They got the the brunt of the people there for the freebies. Thought it was a fantastic show. It was great to hear the new stuff (even though I've heard it before) knowing the album is out in mere days.
Anyone know what the hug between Gord and Rob was about?
Despite the promo/marketing crap and having to sign your life over to Molson (what are those bracelets really about? ), it was a great night.

Nice to see Dun/Dun and Plan A on there (even though they didn't play them)... I'd like to hear some of the others from the new album... looks they the band intends on it!
Was not there but free beer=bad idea....Instant a-hole add alcohol...
want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

It was two free per person bit unlimited. But you're right that it certainly brings out the worst in many folks.
Vic's not an a-hole but I think his tolerance for a-holes is about as good as mine.
You got it Chris. I was there when it happened, pure testosterone overload. There was not a part of me that wasn't groped last night, got kicked in the head, was dripping with beer, and told off by mean a 20 foot tall man. I also got a hug from a beautiful lady whom I bumped into by accident, and I met some new friends. There were fans, and there were morons there for the free ride.
