It's not that I don't like both songs - I do. They are just predictable in most Hip shows. With those songs "out of the way," I have less expectations of what is to come.Tthip wrote:Out of the way? I asked in another thread - and I'll ask here. What is it you want to hear at a show?
But to answer your question: After 40 shows, I still need to hear Thugs, Cordelia, Trickle Down, Lets Stay Engaged. As for songs I have heard and would go for again: Put it Off, Everytime You Go, Makeshift, Heart of Melt, Chagrin, All Tore Up, Bastard, Something On, Kids Don't Get it,
As for hits: Locked, 100th, Giftshop, Good Life, Bones, Twist, Grace, Too, (one of my all time favs), Nautical,
I enjoy a mix. I just need a surprise here and there. Also, I enjoy HEARING those songs, not hereing.

I don't care that they play those two songs at every show. ABAC is my all time favourite Hip song, so I can hear it every single time and Poets always blows the roof off and is unbelievable. So, keep them coming.
That said...the rarities are so much fun to hear.

safe to assume Springtime is the end of the first set??
Not that I a huge fan of either Courage or Springtime but I will bet that back to back blew the doors off the place!

Agree, from one that has also seen them many times, it is nice when they pull some 'gems' out that they do not play much.Gibson wrote:It's not that I don't like both songs - I do.
