Hey everyone, I'm a relatively new Hip fan. Well, I've had most of their albums for a few years now, but I'm only starting to get into them. Going to my first show on 11.14 with a good friend of mine who isn't really a Hip fan. Thanks for this awesome site btw!

Oh hey, sorry for the late response, damn browser said I read this thread already. To answer your question, no I don't live on the Island, Calgary actually, but did when I was a child in Qualicum Beach. Absolutely beautiful on the Island.

Hey, My Name is Andrew from Smyrna, Tennessee (it's a suburb of Nashville), I just registered here but I've been a fan of the hip now for a couple of years (since a Canadian friend of mine turned me on to them). I'm a student at Virginia Tech, and I just saw my first hip concert last saturday in DC (I was the kid in the Preds jersey with the fro down front). Needless to say I was absolutely blown away, even with the great things I've heard about the Hip's concerts. I hope I can see many more, but the chances down here in the south are few and far between . . . anyway thought I'd say hey.

Dates are often added as the tour goes on, so keep hoping and stay up to date. I'd love to road-trip to Nashville to see a show. Besides the obvious reason, my daughter lives in Clarksville and I'd love for her to see a live Hip show. I know she too would be blown away and I want to show her that her old man isn't nuts for being so wrapped up in Hip Culture.

Um, I'm not exactly brand new but I never saw this thread. I'm from Thorold in Ontario and have been a Hip fan ever since I first heard Courage on the radio when I was like 10. I'm a student at Brock University and there is a very loyal Hip following there. Love this site.

hey all-new to the site-hip fan of 11 years-veteran of 60+ shows and 5 or six GD solo shows. very cool to see a whole lot of people just as rabid and crazy as i am! looking forward to pitt and rochester the next few days and possibly hitting 70 shows this tour. (total not 70 IBE shows .)
recent highlights include DC and PHILLY (which was my 30th b-day!)
recent lowlights include the SARNIA debacle (see reviews)

Hey this is my first time posting on the site. I met Mrlayance standing outside the show in Minneapolis last night so I figured I would chime in. For anyone who was there I was the big guy in the black T-Shirt up along the railing.
I'm from Minne and I was never a really big hip fan until my wife dragged me to a show in Minneapolis a couple years back. I'm a fan of the music but I really love the Hip because they are one of the best if not the best band to hear live. I'm convinced Gordie is insane but I wouldn't want it any other way.
My favorite Hip album is Phantom Power and my favorite song is....you guessed it, Fire in the Hole.
Anyway, I haven't looked around the site too much yet, but I plan too. It seems like you guys have a good thing going here.
