Would a ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (2 x dual-link DVI) graphics card really help? If you're ever in the market for a new ATI card you know who to call. Inventory is almost non-existent right now but I can always keep you informed if something comes up.

It would only help if it was in that tower... my MacBookPro and my ol' G5 iMac are working overtime on editing lately. The MacBookPro is wickedly fast, but working on the 15" screen gets a bit tedious. With one of those towers, and a good video card I could edit on my 42" HDTV.

And don't think I forgot about my source at ATI!

Right now not much due to inventory shortages but in general I can help out if you ever need a new ATI video card or two.

So, what, I just burn all the video files onto a DVD?

I tried that, and my computer won't recognise it as a valid DVD. What did I do wrong?

What format did you burn it as? I've found that the best way to do it is to burn the disc as a Data disc: DVD-ROM (UDF).

Here is the basic structure for the disc:

Disc Name: TTH2006-07-12-UTRECHT
Folders on the disc:
-VIDEO_TS (All of the .vob files for the concert you downloaded.)
-AUDIO_TS (Needed although it will be empty. If this was not included in your download, create an empty folder with this name and include it.
-DVD-Rom Contents (Not always included - only used sometimes to contain text files, pictures, FLACs, etc.)

Hope that helps; if not, post again and we'll get you sorted out.

Shit. Thanks, man. I left the audio folder out. Thanks, though.

We're getting through the shows, slowly but surely.

The NYE show from Chicago is going up in a few minutes...

Any comments, criticisms, things that we should change, etc????

I think everything's been working well so far. :D Big thanks as always to those involved.

Just think, in a couple of weeks you'll have all the 2007 shows to deal with as well. ;)

Criticisim?? Absolutely not! Praise is more like it. I can't thank all of you enough for everything that you've taped and shared. I feel fortunate that we have people like you around!

I'm out of footage at this point (I have my footage, and for a few shows I have two sources... but not all three or four that are available)... so I need to connect with some of the other tapers to get their stuff to complete any of the remaining shows.

Pittsburgh, Lewiston, Stratford and/or the Gord Downie Heart Of A Lake Tour shows will be next. I think.

And with tonight being the kick-off of the 2007 tour, more footage will start to accumulate.

I didn't even realize that it was tonight! I knew it started on the 7th, and I knew that today was the 7th... but I just didn't make the connection. I'm going to guess 5 songs from WC.
