My friend saw his name/initial on the website but didnt recieve a winners email. He contacted the box office just in case and all 50 winners have already collected their tickets.

Here is ok. I have an extra ticket to the kingston pen tour
At 3pm tomorrow. $30 bucks and it's 90 min long, if anyone wants to join me.

This is the second hottest ticket in town and a very nice offer for someone. How were you able to score that ticket? I have taken the tour and its quite chilling, someone should take sammy up on this!

My wife and I have Kingston tickets in section 104. So happy to be going. We are driving down from London tomorrow morning, staying at the Quality Inn. Looking forward to all of the action downtown. Where should we get a drink before the show? I want to be close by to get the poster!! I'm excited to go but also sad at the same time.

I predict most downtown kingston bars will be absolutely impossible to get in tomorrow.

Very close walk: Milestones, Red house
A couple minutes away: merchant tap house, lone star, toucan, tir nan og, Sir John A public house, Jack Astors (roof top patio overlooking market square, this will be RAMMED)
A little farther: stone city ales (craft beer, small and tough to get into on a normal weekend), barcadia (an arcade that serves booze, likely packed as well) blu martini (upscale older crowd, large space), kingston brewing CO
Farther still - The "hub" at Kingston and Division university bar area : Grizzly grill, Brass Pub, Tommys, Ale house
A long ways away - The mansion. Formerly peel pub

Today I had a nice lunch with Juan and his wife at Copper Penny, which I believe is where the hip played their first gig. Less than 10m walk from Krock center.

There are many other nice(r) restaurants nearby that serve drinks as well. Woodenheads, Olivea, Casa, Chez piggy, chen noir, Grecos greek, The Keg

Nearby spots that many like to eat but wouldnt make my top 20 in Kingston: Sima sushi, Harpers burger bar, Dianes fish bar, Atomica pizza (same owner all 3 I think)

Lots of sushi in Kingston, much of it misses the mark in my opinion, my favorite is sushi bar da

I'll be there Sunday. If it weren't for Morrison's I'd have died c2001

Morrisons sunday is a great idea.

The Merchant tap house may not be an option. Heard the Hip have booked it for their own private after party just like Across the Causeway 2004.

A cabbie told me Mick Jagger is in town.

If people posted where they were and what crowds/waits were like tomorrow it would be much appreciated. Something tells me Kingston can't possibly be ready for this. Who knows if I'm ready for it?

Hard to pinpoint everything I am feeling knowing tomorrow is the tour closer. I've never felt more "connected" to any tour of any band. No small feat considering I have only attended one show so far.

If anyone is interested, I would love to get a photo of a bunch of us in our Hip gear before the show. Gate 3 southeast side of Krock has the largest bar and natural light filtering in. It's where you can find me during Frontenacs intermissions and could be a great "hip base"

It's been a truly special tour thanks to the band, the scopers and the basers.

Let's just see what tomorrow brings.

Hitting the road from Toronto at 9. Likely will have lunch, pick up tickets and merch, check in to hotel then cab it downtown to see where the action. Would love to meet up with any basers. Just let me know where meet ups are happening. I'll be wearing a custom THEHIP11 black shirt.

Can't believe this day is here. I can't tell if I'm happy or sad. Probably a bit of both.

Prediction for tonight is we hear courage to start and blow to end, maybe New Orleans as its their most popular song.

I had long planned on going to Kingston in case there were the lines like the other shows with last minute tickets... Is there a point in heading to the arena at all? Is there any way one of us who doesn't have a ticket can get one (without spending $1500)?

:(

We are on the 6th floor back at Queens (Brant) until 3 or 4 then back downtown. Come on down. Only 2 of us right now
Hot as hell walking downtown

Hey Guys,

I went to 3 Toronto and Hamilton. Was very lucky.

If anyone is getting merch and sees anything Kingston specific, especially poster or XL t-shirt I would gladly pay you and throw in a Gargoyle poster. Just drop me a PM.

Thanks in advance to any kind Hip Baser.

Enjoy every second tonight.

Is that the early entry poster? Or would the early entry poster simply be one of the tour posters?
